In 1986, Rowntree Antiques was launched when I brought my first container of country pine furniture from England.

In 1991, shortly after the Iron Curtain fell, new buying markets opened in Eastern Europe (Czech and Slovak Republics as well as Hungary).

In 2002 we built and relocated to a new building on Atwater Avenue in downtown Montreal.

In 2021 Rowntree Antiques ‘escaped to the country’ and is now operating out of an historic brick church in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. We operate on a by-appointment basis only so please do not hesitate to reach out.  Some of our inventory can be viewed on this site.
